Founded in 2018, HitSquad Ninja Gym is an American Ninja Warrior & Military Veteran-Owned Ninja Warrior Gym located in Tempe, AZ.

We're happy to be the first dedicated ninja warrior gym in Arizona that specializes in OCR training and Adult NinjFIT fitness program. We also host American Ninja Warrior birthday parties, private events and corporate team building.

Brian Rambo

Co-Owner

Coach Rambo was born in California raised in AZ has been married for 8 years and has 2 sons. Brian has been growing food on his urban farm for the last 7 years trying to live a healthy and clean lifestyle... In 2018 Brian started training and got on to American Ninja Warrior season 10 where he took 1st in city qualifiers and 5th in city finals and made it to the Las Vegas finals.

Since starting ninja training Brian has since taken on coaching kids as well as adults along side his fellow Ninja Warrior Lee cates and Cody Johnston. Brian lives sharing the fun loving spirit of the ninja warrior sport with everyone willing to come out and try.

The first step to trying anything is believing that you can do it!

Cody Johnston

Co-Owner

Coach Cody, aka The Anesthesia Ninja, is a 3x American Ninja Warrior, representing Season 7, 8 & 10.

Cody is passionate about his family, healthy living and fitness. His family founded the Non-Profit organization, Ninjas Against Smoking to help promote anti-smoking and vaping awareness as well as promoting healthy lifestyles. He enjoys sharing in his passion of Ninja and it’s apparent within his Ninja classes.

His favorite obstacles are the obstacles that allow him to “fly” through the air. Don’t be surprised upon entry into HitSquad Ninjas, to find Coach Cody pulling some big lache or trapeze move.

Coach Cody is often heard stating “If you’re NOT having fun, then you’re doing it wrong”!!

Lee Cates

Co-Owner

Born and raised in Aurora Co. And currently lives in Tempe Arizona with his 7 year old daughter Jaelynn. Lee served in the U.S Marines for 5 years and was awarded the navy and marine corps achievement medal with combat valor for is 2 deployment to Iraq. Lee competed on ANW season 10 and 11 making it the the city finals finishing 14th. He met his best friends and businesses partners Brian Rambo and Cody Johnson while training and coaching ninja over the last 2 years.

His motto is "everything happens for a reason" and "failure is a stepping stone to success"
